IPE Forum is closed

We have provided forum to IPE Members so that they can share and help each other and members can get answers more quickly by browsing existing topics. But after looking at the facts, here are the main reasons why we had to take it down 1) We were getting helpdesk tickets for same questions already been discussed on the forum. 2) Members were posting their issues on forum as well as helpdesk, so I had to update them on both the places. 3) Threads having non-related issues, eg. If there is a thread on discussing folder path issue, other members posting their mysql issues So as you can see it has become very difficult for me to provide support on forum as well as on the helpdesk. Moreover, if the support can be provided on the helpdesk then I found the forum is not much help to anyone. So, finally we have decided to take the forum down, and instead we will be maintaining the knowledgebase on the helpdesk with frequently asked questions. I will also send the updates in the news section on the helpdesk Now here are the benefits of this closure 1) Members don’t have to browse around different places to get their answers. Now you can find all your answers at one location, i.e. helpdesk. 2) Its much easier to browse knowledgebase than to search a forum. 3) You can get direct support from me if its not already covered in the knowledgebase.
